Florida Restaurant Closed For Unlicensed Activity
A Crab Island restaurant was shut down by the state last week after a random inspection revealed it had been operating without a license.
The restaurant is actually located on a boat and according to Florida Statutes, food barges are required to have the same permits as food trucks or other mobile food vendors. The owners are facing a substantial fine for operating a public food service establishment without a license.
