Dispute Over Business License Results In Arrest Of Ambulance Owner

The owner of Pleasant Bay Ambulance service picked up a misdemeanor summons Friday and was released on his own recognizance after being charged with operating an ambulance service without a city permit.

Russellville, AL officials issued a misdemeanor summons for the owner's arrest. The charge of operating without a business license is a Class A misdemeanor, which is punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.
