2016 started with a bang when Business Licenses, LLC added one of the 10 largest big-box retailers to our growing roster of business license software customers. We then launched LicenseSuite and partnered with Bank of America to provide business license compliance reports to thousands of small businesses across every state in America. We also provided research, filing, and consulting services to one of the largest mergers in American retail history.
In the summer of 2015, Business Licenses, LLC released major enhancements to BLMS®, including the ability to track professional license, vehicle licenses, contracts, property leases, and violations. The software's subscription base quickly grew to include customers from nearly every industry imaginable, such as healthcare, retail, telecommunications, food service, insurance, manufacturing, home security, entertainment, and finance.
Many of America's best known restaurant chains — such as PF Changs, The Cheesecake Factory, and Planet Hollywood — realized the benefits of BLMS® in 2014. They substantially increased their productivity and reduced their exposure to the risks of non-compliance. Word continued to spread and before the year's end, two of the top three retailers in America were clients of Business Licenses, LLC.
In 2010, Business Licenses, LLC introduced the Business License Management System (BLMS®) into the burgeoning market to allow enterprises to manage their own business license management workflow. Within two years, Apria Healthecare, Peets Coffee, Smith & Nephew, Sodexo, and other Fortune 500 companies were managing all of their business licenses, permits, and tax registrations on the cloud software. (They're all still with us today.)
